Our machines for projection welding facilitate flawless unwelding of all projections - regardless of whether circular projections, arcuate projections or elongated projections on weld nuts, flanges or other components. The basis for the high performance of our machines is their solid, high-quality workmanship. That is because for projection welding machines, particularly important is: torsion-free machine bodies are the meat and potatoes. Thanks to completely rigid, torsion-free base-frames, steel construction and massive press tables with T-slots for mounting the welding fixture, NIMAK machines meet the high demands placed on projection welding in every respect.
- Individually configurable with the modular system
- Optionally in alternating current technology, in medium frequency version or as a capacitor discharge machine

- As a table-top or floor version
- For workshops and industry
- Space-saving C-module for welding cells
Highest quality, fast delivery, attractive terms, individual solutions - with our projection welding machines everything is just right. After all, we manufacture your machine based on the modular system while taking your individual specifications such as pneumatics, control and color into consideration at the same time. That results in the correct mixture of standardization and individuality that gives you advantages in both the quality and cost-effectiveness. We develop, design and manufacture most of the various components of the modular system ourselves. To accomplish that we reap our expertise from more than 50 years of experience. Depending on the welding requirements, we provide you with individually adapted appliances and special tools with which you can easily supplement projection welding machines from NIMAK. For fine and precise projection welding we recommend our table-top projection welding machines. Everywhere that projection machines are demanded in automated cells with only tight space available our C-module, which was developed specifically for this purpose, convinces. Have a talk with our experts. We would be glad to individually consult you.
Special underlying conditions require special solutions. We have just the right one at hand when your projection welding machine only has severely limited electrical supply lines available onsite: our PowerKES machines with capacitor discharge technology. High-power capacitors are used here which quickly charge up during the welding breaks and quickly discharge while welding. That produces a very high-energy charged welding process and the welding time is very short. Using this capacitor discharge technology during resistance projection welding facilitates connecting very different materials, galvanic and hot-dip galvanized sheets, high-allow steels, grain-refined construction steel, high-strength and multiphase steels as well as steel grades with a high carbon content. During this process, the surrounding materials are spared since the heat development is concentrated solely on the welding point. In part, with the PowerKES versions water cooling can even be omitted: Since energy only needs to be applied in the process for a very short time, the thermal stress is significantly less than in machines with alternating current or medium frequency technology. A servomotor drive makes compressed air superfluous, which reduces the production costs. Whether as a table-top or floor model, the PowerKES convinces with its high performance and low current input.
Extra power for resistance projection welding: magneticDRIVE
You will generate immense force and reach high speed when you equip your projection welding machine with magneticDRIVE. The unbridled power then takes effect with the latest microprocessor-controlled electromagnets. Specifically with capacitor discharge welding machines with their extremely short welding times, a force-locked follow-up is indispensable for low-spatter welding and the best welding results. In contrast to conventional follow-up units, magneticDRIVE provides you the full flexibility and dynamics of an electromagnet. At the same time, the required electrode force, matched force profile and the follow-up characteristics can be perfectly adapted to the welding job through the appropriate control engineering. Benefits in an overview:
Individually configurable
You tell us what welding challenges you are facing. Our technicians in the welding lab will search for and find the best solution for you. To do that they perform tests and define the main welding parameters based on the specimens you provided. We then use these insights and our modular system to configure and fabricate your projection welding machine.
Robust and tough
We guarantee the high quality and excellent workmanship of our projection welding plants and all of its processed components. In decades of use they often prove that they are absolutely robust and tough and work reliably and precisely for a long time.
Shorter delivery times, good price-performance ratio
One of the benefits of our modular system for projection welding machines: we can realize machines that are matched to your needs at a reasonable price. Since we manufacture nearly all of the components ourselves and our warehouse is always well stocked, we would be glad to implement for you even with short delivery dates.
Meets all safety regulations
The legislature defined safety regulations for good reason and our projection welding machines comply with them. They also meet the requirements of labor legislation as per Performance Level D.
