What do you do in this occupation?

Electrical technician for industrial engineering install electric components and plants in the areas of energy supply, industrial processing facilities or modern building systems and automation technology. They regularly maintain, expand and/or modernize them and in case of a fault also perform repairs. They also install cable routing systems, energy and information cables and the electrical equipment of machines with the related automation systems. The electrical technicians program, configure and test systems and safety equipment. They organize the assembly of plants and monitor the work performed by service providers and other trades. When the plants are handed over, the electrical technicians for industrial engineering instruct the future operators.
