Welding controls

The NIMAK multiCONTROL is the all-rounder of the controllers. It can be used for the following applications:

  • Clinching
  • Punching
  • Suspension strut hole punching
  • Nut positioning
  • Control of robot welding guns
  • Dosing

A hardware platform common to all applications and scalable in its performance is used. In addition to the drive-related size of the drive inverter, a choice of operating platforms is also included (see "Variants")

An existing fieldbus connection also includes the facility to connect decentralized peripherals (e.g. gun and production cell)

  • 3 guns in alternation, whether welding, clinching or punching
  • Parallel to the operation of the guns, the control system can also operate a gluing application with a maximum of one double barrel pump and 2 dosing units 
  • In addition, the operation of decentralized peripherals such as valve terminals, clamps, etc. is supported by the internal bus master
