NIMAK paved the way to a successful future

The shareholders of the NIMAK Group have transferred the majority of their shares to the TÜNKERS Verwaltungs GmbH with headquarters in Ratingen as of 01.07.2020.

The aim of the transaction is to secure the continued existence of NIMAK in an increasingly global economic environment and to strengthen its market position.  At the same time, the already existing technology and innovation leadership in several areas of joining technology is to be consolidated and further expanded through technological developments.

Just like NIMAK, TÜNKERS is a German family-owned company which has its origins in mechanical engineering and has developed into a global player for automation technology with a great deal of commitment. TÜNKERS attaches great importance to establishing long-term and successful partnerships with its customers and therefore fits in very well with the philosophy of NIMAK. True to the motto "Inventive spirit as standard", TÜNKERS therefore also proactively and together with its customers, constantly develops new, innovative solutions which convince through their efficiency and reliability.

For you as a business partner of NIMAK, nothing will change as a result of the new majority shareholding.

The current management team and their previous national and international contact persons will remain in their accustomed position in the company under the leadership of Dr. Niels Hammer, thus ensuring stability and continuity in the company management. Mr. Paul Nickel will continue to support NIMAK and TÜNKERS in an advisory capacity. In addition, Mr. Olaf Tünkers and Mr. André Tünkers will complement the management as representatives of the main shareholder.

NIMAK as a globally established brand and company name will remain and will continue to stand for innovation, technological leadership and reliability with the product range of welding guns, adhesive dosing systems and customer-specific automation solutions.
