NIMAK China at AMTS in Shanghai

Shanghai / Wissen 4th - 7th of July 2018

Instead of the common date in September, the AMTS already took place in July. This is because of the very fast increase of the leading exhibition in automation. Since the exhibitors meanwhile require 8 halls, there would not be enough space on the fairgrounds in Shanghai-Pudong as there are already two other events taking place at the same time.

As already in the previous years, the exhibition was well-attended. NIMAK China presented the MG50 VARI which is a new and very light-weight 7th axes robot welding gun series based on the proven MG100 VARI and thanks to the weight from approx. 60 kg also suitable for use with smaller robots. However, the gun is also appropriate for high-strength steel.

NIMAK China highlighted the robot welding guns but for sure also the well-tried and since more than 10 years locally produced manual welding guns were not missing. On top of the performance spectrum there was the NIMAK powerGUN completing the product range and meeting the requirements of increasing demand for welding guns suitable for aluminum alloy.

Another highlight: QR codes on the welding guns which can be scanned via smartphone or tablet in order to open the complete gun documentation (including serial number, measuring records and overview drawings) in a second. This function will be realized in practical use within this year and should be project-specific available for registered customers and line builders staff. Even calibration data can be opened fast, easily, anytime and everywhere.

After this successful exhibition the NIMAK team is clear about the future participation – it goes without saying that we will be there also next year.
