Where was the journey going? How long would it take?
Not only at the start but tenacity was rewarded many times over: The first factory building in 1965 led to more and to factory buildings and building extensions year on year, until we reached what NIMAK can show for itself today, after over 45 years of growth :
over 8,600 sqm of production and office space and a very good international team network of representatives.
Technologically superior products and a constant readiness to innovate have enabled the Company to grow continually which is now in its second generation of management and where the third generation is already actively participating to carry the name NIMAK forward into the future.
On 1. January 1965 the first step was taken in the successful history of a German machinery manufacturing company.
It was the day on which Erich Nickel – a brilliant electrical engineer – founded the company by the name of NIMAK, a company of worldwide renown today
It all started in a garage and a small wooden shack which in those days housed the design and construction. A staff of seven and a team of representatives set off into the unknown.
